Biography
Tylyn Gerber was born and raised in Wyoming. After graduating high school, she attended Central Wyoming College, where she pursued courses in health science and graduated from the Medical Assistant Program in 2015. Her healthcare career began at a local clinic, where she worked as a Patient Relations Assistant and, later, as a Medical Assistant. Over time, she gained experience in both Pediatrics and Family Medicine and also served as a vaccine coordinator, attending the Wyoming Immunization Conference annually.
During her time in the clinic, Tylyn mentored CWC Medical Assistant students as part of their practicum hours and discovered her passion for teaching. This led her to become an adjunct instructor at CWC, and she eventually transitioned into a full-time Medical Assistant Instructor role. She finds great fulfillment in watching her students grow, develop confidence, and discover their strengths. Tylyn is dedicated to motivating her students and helping prepare qualified healthcare professionals to serve their communities.
