Patrick is an avid angler who loves fishing for trout, walleye and tiger muskies. He grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and attended Laramine County Community College. He then transferred to the University of Wyoming where he earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration and went on to Chadron State College to complete a Master's in Business Administration.
Patrick's favorite experiences at college were being involved in campus life. He was a student ambassador, served on the student activites board and could always be found cheering on college athletics.

Mirta has worked in Higher Education holding several positions within the Student Affairs profession. As a Campus Safety Officer, Assistant Transportation Coordinator, and Transportation Coordinator, Mirta obtained knowledge and developed skills in areas of proper organization, scheduling, time management as well as the performance of safety and transportation operations under safe, effective and cost-efficient practices. As a Life Coach and Academic Coach/Veteran Services Advisor, Mirta acquired extensive experience in personalized, one-on-one meeting with individuals, including those with disabilities, helping them examine academic concerns and perceived barriers to success. While providing students with semester-long academic support in areas such as time management, procrastination, test preparation, note-taking, and reading strategies, Mirta facilitated coaching sessions that empower students towards positive behavior changes required for achievement. During coaching sessions, Mirta worked individually with students, assessed their strengths and needs, and devised a personalized plan of action. As a Student Recruiter, Mirta served as a liaison between potential students and the institution with a friendly, approachable personality. Mirta conducts interviews via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to identify prospective high school and adult students to determine their educational needs, concerns, and interests. She also assists and mentors students through the full admissions process.
Mirta also served in the U.S. Army Active and Reserve as a Combat Medic and Operating Room Technician while obtaining valuable skills found in Combat Lifesaving training. During her time in the U.S. Army, Mirta learned the importance of teamwork, sacrifice, and service to others. Today, as a veteran, Mirta understands the importance of duty and dedication to the mission. She is a member of the Central Wyoming College Diversity Committee, the National Society of Leadership and Success, Society of Clinical Psychology, and The American Legion.
Mirta has been trained in Suicide Prevention and Intervention, Brain Injury Awareness, Developmental Disabilities and Reasonable Accommodations for Students in Colleges and Universities, CPR/AED/First Aid, Student Financial Aid, Admissions Policies and Procedures, Financial and Economic Literacy, Learning Disabilities, National Incident Management System (NIMS), First Responder Awareness Level, and Emergency Response to Terrorism. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
In her spare time, Mirta loves to cook, bake, and explore the outdoors with an interest in camping, hiking, and sightseeing. She also enjoys outdoor markets and festivals as well as baking and specialty shops.
