    The Rocky Mountain region is an important ranching, equine and agricultural production center for the state of Wyoming and the nation. By utilizing existing local resources and the Rustler Ag & Equine Complex, CWC believes it can meet the challenge of providing the educated workforce and leaders essential for building a robust economy for the region.

    Agriculture is Wyoming’s third largest economic sector. The value added to Wyoming’s economy by the ag sector totaled $1.72 billion in 2016. Fremont County is the largest producer of fruit, milk, honey, and eggs.
    The total economic impact for horses in Wyoming is $286 million. Fremont County is the ninth county in the US for the number of horses and ponies in livestock inventory which supports a vibrant equine studies and rodeo industry.
    Cattle and calves generate more than one billion dollars in agriculture cash receipts for Wyoming. With the ability to finish and process meats locally, producers will capture higher revenues. Fremont County is tenth in cattle production with high potential for locally finished beef.
