Central Wyoming College Foundation

We believe everyone should have an opportunity to go to college. The foundation’s mission is  to promote and extend financial assistance through scholarships, programs, activities and current and future initiatives of CWC.

The Foundation’s Board of directors is comprised of alumni and community leaders who work closely with the college to develop fundraising opportunities to meet the needs of the institution.

By making a gift to the Central Wyoming College Foundation, you play a pivotal role in continuing the college's tradition of excellence. Through your generous donation, you can help ensure today's and tomorrow's students have an opportunity to improve our community, and the promise of a bright future. Gifts of all sizes are appreciated.

Ways to Give

We welcome your gifts and will make it early for you to donate in a one- time annual donation payment or in monthly installments.

There are many ways for you to donate – online or by mail to the CWC Foundation, 2660 Peck Ave, Riverton, WY 82501.

Securities can be one of the most advantageous ways to make a gift. The value of the donation for tax purposes will be determined on the date of the transfer to the CWC Foundation. You avoid federal capital gains tax that would otherwise be due on the sale of the assets.

Real Estate and Personal Property

Tangible personal property such as art, books, or equipment related to the mission of Central Wyoming College are tax deductible (at fair market value). Consider donating property - before you sell it - to the Central Wyoming College Foundation. You'll avoid capital gains tax and realize a charitable deduction for the full fair market value.

Matching Gifts

Your employer may boost the size of your donation. Many companies match their employees’ charitable giving to institutions of higher education. Matching gifts are directed to the same college, program, or scholarship fund as the employee’s original gift.  Please check to see if your company will match your gift.
