Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Certification

The program will combine foundational classroom instruction with hands-on skills training and real-world clinical experience. Core content will include patient assessment, airway management, trauma care, medical emergencies, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and safe ambulance operations, all aligned with current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians standards. Students will participate in simulation-based scenarios and complete supervised clinical and field rotations with a local EMS agency to ensure practical competency. Upon successful completion, graduates will be eligible to sit for national certification and transition directly into the workforce or continue into advanced EMS pathways. This program will not only expand access to high-quality emergency care in the region but also create a clear, attainable pathway for individuals seeking meaningful careers in healthcare.
