Rustler Discover Day 2026

Wednesday, February 18 @ 8am - 2:30 pm

High school juniors and seniors from near and far are invited to experience what it’s like to be a Rustler at Central Wyoming College’s Discover Day! Spend the day exploring campus, meeting faculty, staff, and current students, and learning how CWC can help you turn your goals into reality.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Ask questions of staff and faculty
  • Interact with current CWC students
  • Tour campus and residence halls
  • Attend informative sessions tailored to students, parents, and counselors

Topics and sessions include:

  • Scholarships
  • Housing and Student Life
  • Student Support Services
  • Pathways to Possibilities – Meet the faculty of your chosen major
  • Meet a Rustler Student Panel
  • Parent and Counselor Session
  • Campus Tours
  • Free Lunch

Tentative Schedule
Starting in the Arts Center

  • Check-In: 8:30 – 9:00 AM
  • Welcome: 9:00 – 9:45 AM
  • Academic Fair: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Campus Tours: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Parent Session: 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Free Lunch: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Information Sessions: 1:00 – 2:00 PM
  • Prize Giveaways: 2:00 – 2:30 PM

Group Visits:
Schools planning to bring a bus of students should have each student register individually and also contact Admissions to ensure students stay together during sessions and lunch.
