RUSTLER SPOTLIGHT: LAUREN STATEN
Lauren Staten will graduate this May with a business administration degree. The Pinedale native has been accepted into the business program at the University of Wyoming and will transfer in the fall.
“I have always loved business,” she said. “You can do anything with it.”
Staten is the secretary for National Society for Leadership and Success, is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and is in GearUp. In her free time she enjoys painting and drawing.
She was nominated Lisa Appelhans, tutor and skills coach for Student Support Services.
Lauren is a great student and very involved in CWC campus activities. She is a math and business tutor for Student Support Services. She has been working hard to make that a smooth transition, by submitting her paperwork on time, applying for scholarships and seeking on-campus jobs, to help her meet her goal of being able to complete her bachelor's degree debt-free. I can count on Lauren to help with input, organizing and setting-up activities and programs in the tutor lab. ”
