CLASSICAL GUITARIST, SONGWRITER IN CONCERT APRIL 11

CLASSICAL GUITARIST, SONGWRITER IN CONCERT APRIL 11

Andy Hackbarth, an award-winning recording artist, songwriter and classical guitarist, presents a concert with friends Friday, April 11 in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre at Central Wyoming College.

Sponsored by Arts and Action and CWC, Hackbarth works with children in Fremont County schools while in residency at CWC. Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Recognized as a classical guitar virtuoso in his early 20s, Hackbarth sought to pursue new musical interests, including song writing. The Colorado native moved to Nashville to match his songwriting skills with his mastery of the guitar.

Hackbarth has studied with some the world’s most highly-respected musicians, including John Williams, Christopher Parkening, and Julliard’s Sharon Isbin and Kevin Gallagher.

He taught at the University of Colorado as a graduate student, and has worked with thousands of children and adults at schools, libraries and community education centers throughout the country. He continues to make outreach opportunities an integral part of his touring schedule.

Currently based out of both Denver and Nashville, Hackbarth writes and records with some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Tickets may be purchased at the CWC Box Office, open 3-6 p.m. weekdays, or at the door.
