BOARD SCHEDULES SPECIAL MEETING TO NAME NEXT CWC PRESIDENT

The Central Wyoming College Board has scheduled a special meeting to name the next president of CWC.

In a progress report sent to CWC staff Friday morning, Board Chair Charlie Krebs said the board is ready to finalize its decision to name a new president to succeed retiring President Jo Anne McFarland. He has called for a special meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. in room 116 of the CWC Intertribal Center.

“After the call to order, the board will recess into executive session to discuss personnel, after which the board will reconvene the public meeting to take formal action,” he said. No other business will be transacted during the meeting.

“As further plans emerge, I will report back to you with additional details relating to this exciting presidential transition,” Krebs said in an email to staff.

The three finalists for the job are Dr. Paul Kraft, Dr. Jason Wood and Dr. Cristobal “Cris” Valdez.
