ART STUDENTS SELL HOMEMADE CHILI IN HANDMADE BOWLS

Central Wyoming College ceramics students are selling homemade chili in handmade bowls at a Chili Bowl Sale Wednesday, May 7 in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Gallery.

Students have crafted multiple ceramic bowls to serve up the chili and are charging patrons $8 for both, said ceramics instructor Danny Brown of the 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. event. In addition to the bowls, there will be a silent auction of ceramic pieces made by students from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on May 8.

All the proceeds go directly to the CWC ceramics studio to fund new materials, visiting artists, travel and workshops, Brown said.
