CWC LIBRARY HOSTS POETRY READING APRIL 17

CWC LIBRARY HOSTS POETRY READING APRIL 17

In observance of National Poetry Month in April, the Central Wyoming College Library is hosting a Poetry Reading Wednesday, April 17 and the public is invited to participate.

To celebrate poetry’s place in American culture, CWC Assistant Librarian Jeff Stinson is inviting students, staff and community members to read their own poetry or recite favorite poems during the 6-8 p.m. event in the Little Theatre.

Readings are a great way to promote poets and poetry, and Stinson invites poets or poetry admirers to contact him so that he can schedule the readings. He is also providing an “open mike” time for those who may want to join in unscheduled. Refreshments are served.

For more information or to be scheduled for the reading, email Stinson at jeff@cwc.edu or call (307) 855-2232.
