BAND PRESENTS ‘NIGHT AT SYMPHONY’

The Central Wyoming College Concert Band performs in concert Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre.

Conducted by new music faculty Jason Ogg, the band will perform a variety of symphonic music, including literature from Brahms and PDQ Bach. Ogg, who is completing a doctoral program in saxophone performance, joins the band in performing “Rhapsody for Alto Saxophone” by Jerry Nowak at the free concert.

Entitled “An Evening at the Symphony,” the band is warming up for a Thursday, March 14 concert in Dubois. The band is joined by the Collegiate Chorale, and the vocal jazz ensemble JAZZMAGIC for the 7 p.m. concert at Dubois High School.
