AUDITIONS FOR SPRING MUSICAL DEC. 10, 11

Auditions for Central Wyoming College Theater Department’s production of The Music Man are scheduled for Dec. 10 and 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Art Center.

The Music Man, a Broadway hit in 1957 that earned five Tony Awards including best musical, is staged Feb. 28-March 2. Rehearsals begin Monday, January 13, 2014.

Auditions on Dec. 10 are devoted to singing and are held on the main stage of the Arts Center. Director Mike Myers asks those auditioning to prepare a song from a Broadway musical.

Acting auditions are Dec. 11 and are held in the Music Rehearsal Hall, room 157 in the Arts Center, and actors are asked to read scenes from the script.

There are approximately 50 roles for men and women and children.
