PART TWO OF QUIRKY BRAIN DISCUSSION

PART TWO OF QUIRKY BRAIN DISCUSSION

Central Wyoming College Psychology Professor Jewel Dirks, who did a research project on the “Quirky Brain,” shares some of her findings during an Academic Colloquium scheduled for Wednesday, April 11 at 3:30 p.m. in room 171 of the Main Hall Classroom Wing.

Dirks explains that the brain is capable of functioning in unusual ways. “We’ll explore agnosias—those strange disorders that occur when one tiny part of the brain doesn’t bind with the whole,” she said, adding she plans to answer some other questions about the brain.

The monthly academic discussions are free and open to the public.
