PROFESSOR RECOGNIZED FOR TEACHING ACTIVITY

A teaching activity developed by Central Wyoming College Geosciences Professor Suki Smaglik has been accepted to the On the Cutting Edge program as an exemplary teaching activity.

The On the Cutting Edge program, which supports professional development in geosciences, has selected Smaglik’s activity through a peer review. The description of the activity is described on Geoscience in Two-Year Colleges website.

Smaglik’s describes her approach to teaching students to identify minerals in a lab situation.
