Cowboys are our Superheros! Eat Fremont Beef to Celebrate

For 18 years, the United States has celebrated National Superhero Day on April 28 thanks to Marvel employees creating the holiday in 1995. And, here in County 10, we count cowboys and ranchers as our superheroes! To celebrate, the Central Wyoming College Rusty’s Corner food court will host a bar-b-que featuring beef from Fremont’s own Wyoming Cowboy Cuts and Wind River Beef.

Here’s how you can come eat Superhero beef with us:

  1. Stop in for lunch on April 28 at the CWC Rusty’s Corner food court in the Student Center – public welcome! – at 2660 Peck Avenue in Riverton. Campus map linked here.
  2. Order up! We are serving two burger sliders, one from each producer.
  3. Next time you see the McCann and Meeks families, let them know you ate their beef to celebrate our cowboy heros.

To purchase more beef from Wyoming Cowboy Cuts and Wind River Beef, stop in at the Fremont Local Market at 524 E. Main Street in Riverton (the old fleamarket). You can also order online at www.wyomingcowboycuts.com and www.eatwyoming.com . Cowboy Cuts is regularly featured on the Bunk’s BBQ menu, as well as at several other restaurants in Riverton and Lander.
