CWC BOARD SEEKS APPLICANTS FOR RIVERTON SEAT

Central Wyoming College Board member Steve Peck, who served on the CWC Board since December 1, 2014, submitted his resignation on January 14, 2022, asking that it be effective January 18, 2022. The board, which accepted Peck’s resignation at the January 19, 2022, meeting, has 30 days to name a replacement.

The CWC Board is seeking applications for the Riverton subdistrict position created by Peck’s resignation.  

Those interested in serving in Peck’s seat until the next general election in November 2022, should call Board Clerk Linda Bender at (307) 855-2102 or email lbender@cwc.edu. The board clerk will send candidates an application packet which must be returned to the president’s office by February 9.

CWC trustees will interview the candidates during their February 16 meeting, and the successful applicant will be sworn in at the end of the meeting. Applicants must be a resident of the Riverton subdistrict. Residency can be verified by calling the Fremont County Clerk’s office. Peck’s successor will serve through November 2022.
