Diversity

November is Native American Month. CWC's United Tribes Club is hosting a special event Friday, Nov. 22, noon to 2 p.m. in celebration of Native American Month. All CWC employees are invited to attend. There will be guest speakers, free food and song in the Intertribal Education and Community Center.

Diversity is integral to Central Wyoming College’s achievement of excellence.  One of the college’s core values is the appreciation of individual and cultural differences and respect for human dignity in the service of diverse communities.

The Diversity Coordinator and Diversity Committee work to promote understanding, respect and appreciation for diversity. CWC places an emphasis on Native American culture and

also works with other diverse populations. This committee works to provide appreciation for “diversity” through programming in a variety of areas. By focusing on diversity programming, the educational experience will be enriched for students, faculty, staff, and the community.
