CENTRAL WYOMING COLLEGE UNDERSTANDING & CARING COMMITTEE
At Central Wyoming College, we are passionate about embracing differences, making space for conversations, and celebrating who you are.
Many things contribute to an individual’s identity, including race, ethnicity, gender, age, appearance, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, education, and political beliefs. These things and more are what make each of us unique.
Central Wyoming College plays a critical role in supporting the social mobility essential for the well-being of our state. CWC takes responsibility for effecting meaningful improvements in educational outcomes, particularly for our underrepresented students. Members of the CWC community strive to understand one another’s story and demonstrate care for each individual.
This understanding and caring allows greater innovation, creativity, and deeper engagement with learning and student success. We create an empathetic and compassionate environment that is considerate of the needs and values of students, staff, and community members; we provide an inclusive and supportive space in which each person’s unique differences are appreciated. We lead by example through relationships and honoring each other so we can flourish together.
