Ranch Horse Team 2023 LCCC Spring Roundup

Riverton, Wyo. —

Eight team members entered and competed this weekend for the CWC Ranch Horse Team at LCCC. Here are the highlights:

Bri Powell showed her 4 year old mare, This Badger Plays Jazz, in the Collegiate Novice Division. In her cow work class, she was up against 28 other horses and ended up placing third! Bri also placed well in reining, ranch pleasure, and trail. I am excited to see where this will put her in the All Around for the Novice Division!

Nathan Wells showed his 3 year old mare, Miss Santana Silk, in the Open Junior Horse and ended up winning the All Around for that division! Nathan also showed his 6 year old horse, Rowdy Blue Willie, in the Collegiate Non-Pro and ended up fifth in the  All Around for the Open Junior Horse Division!

Shelby Gray showed her 4 year old mare, Docs Misty Sugar, in the Collegiate Junior Horse Division and placed fourth in the All Around for that division!
