Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation aims to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band for years, as well as encourage participation from fans and friends.

In partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges, the Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) is a major workforce education program that provides direct support to community colleges to enhance their career and technical education curricula. These courses provide skills and services to students looking to enter a conventional trade or other applied learning program. In 2025, we announced that MSI Year 7 will launch with our largest grant to date, totaling approximately $3M. AWMH is proud to support 75 community colleges across all 50 United States, plus Guam. Since inception, we have invested over $13.5 million in students interested in gaining the skills and training necessary to find meaningful and well-paying careers.
