Central Wyoming College’s new Bridge Program helps first-generation students build confidence, form connections and prepare for college before the fall semester begins.

The free, three-day program is open to incoming first-generation students and first-generation students returning to college after a break of two years or more. A first-generation student is someone whose parent or guardian has not earned a bachelor’s degree.

Participants will explore the CWC campus, meet faculty and staff, connect with current students and alumni, and learn about resources available to support their success. The program includes:

  • Personalized campus tours and student-resource overviews
  • Hands-on technology walkthroughs
  • Financial aid guidance
  • Academic and student support resources
  • Information about clubs, organizations and campus involvement
  • Campus safety and security information

The program concludes ahead of New Student Orientation on Friday, Aug. 21, giving participants an opportunity to begin the semester feeling prepared, connected and ready for success.

Space is limited, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
