Dillon Hayden

Outdoor Education

Dillon Hayden is an outdoor education student and lives at the Sinks Canyon Center in Lander.

I love Wyoming and the outdoors. I wanted a career that would let me be where I loved, the outdoors.”


Dillon was born and raised in Wyoming and spends his time enjoying its beautiful wilderness areas. He enjoys his time living at Sinks Canyon Center and having the Wind River Range as his classroom. He is also involved in the Student Ambassador program, Boy Scouts and church.

Future Goals

This summer, Dillon will be working as a guide at Yellowstone National Park, and this fall will be transferring to the University of Wyoming to complete his Bachelor's in Outdoor Education.

Jasmyne Bryant

Horse Science and Horse Management

Jasmyne's ultimate goal is to help horses heal and recover through therapy.

Life isn't about who has the most gold buckles or won the most checks. It's about the friends you make, seeing family and the moments that may have only lasted a few seconds, but it's a memory that will last a lifetime.”


Jasmyne is a sophomore studying Equine Science and Management. She is from Moorcroft, Wyoming, and chose CWC because of how great the Equine program is. She also wanted to stay close to family. Jasmyne works at the CWC equine barn when she isn't working as a Deputy Recruiter. In her free time, she enjoys going to rodeos, spending time with family and being in the outdoors hunting or fishing.

Future Goals

Jasmyne wants to earn certificates in Equine Therapy in Massage, Chiropractic, Taping, Essential Oils and Acupuncture.

"My dream is to make it to the National Finals Rodeo in barrel racing, but if that doesn't happen I will make it there helping horses that compete."

Logan Kay

Communication, Radio Broadcasting and Film

Logan has always wanted to be part of radio production, and Central was a great place for him to start that path.

Central has become a second home to me. The people here, students and staff, have empowered me to work hard at my educational goals. I'm happy to help give back to a school that has given so much to me.”


Logan is from Thermopolis, Wyoming, and is a sophomore. Along with aspiring to work in radio production and film, Logan also is earning a degree in Communication because he felt that if you can communicate well with others you can get a job anywhere. This free spirit can be found long boarding across campus to and from classes, the radio station and other places on campus. He helps many departments including the Radio Broadcasting, TV Broadcasting, Admissions and Marketing. 

Future Goals

To complete a Bachelor's degree and work for a radio station in sales or production.

James Asmus

Business Administration

James is from Evanston majoring in Business Administration.

I chose CWC because Coach Lara recruited me for cross country, but the small class sizes also played a large role. I had heard very good things about the Business program at CWC from several people that I talked to about the school and the program.”


James is from Evanston, Wyoming, majoring in Business Administration. Outside of classwork, James is a runner on the CWC cross country team. In his free time he enjoys watching or playing sports. 

Future Goals

After graduation from CWC, James plans on either managing a business or owning his own.

Amy Chidester

Pre-Medicine, Pre-Physical Therapy and Pre-Pharmacy

Even with a substantial course load, Amy has maintained a 4.0 GPA and devotes her time to not only helping fellow students but also to clubs, tutoring, recruiting, resident life and ambassadors.

I really enjoy anatomy, and I've always liked science. I want a career where I can help people.”


Amy is a sophomore from Green River, Wyoming. She decided to come to CWC because the people were nice, and she knew it would be a good place to start in Pre-Health with the on-campus cadaver lab. In her freetime she enjoys being part of campus clubs, spending time with friends and listening to music.

Future Goals

To attend Colorado Mesa University to continue her education in health.

Candis Dickinson

Psychology & Addictions Counseling

Candis is a local student who loves to help people and chose a degree that would give her a career in helping others.

I chose to attend CWC because it is close to my home and family.”


Candis is in the Psychology program and plans to transfer to the University of Wyoming to earn a Bachelor's degree. She loves helping people and ultimately hopes to make a career out of helping people. Candis enjoys spending time with her three children and spending time outdoors.

Future Goals

Continue her education in Addictions Counseling at CWC and then either transfer to obtain her Bachelor's or pursue a career in psychology/counseling at the conclusion of her time at CWC.

Dean Corson

Automotive Technology & Powersports

Dean grew up helping his dad in the shop and enjoys rebuilding vehicles.

Dean is from right in Riverton and grew up helping his dad work in the shop. He enjoyed working with his hands, building and rebuilding vehicles which gave him the drive to pursue a career in working with vehicles. In his free time, Dean enjoys working on cars and spending time with is family.

Future Goals

In the future, Dean would like to become a master mechanic like his father.
