Rustler Spotlight-Jensyn Pettit

Rustler Spotlight-Jensyn Pettit

Jensyn Pettit is a freshman from Riverton. She is in the criminal justice program and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations.

“I want to work in counter-terrorism for the FBI; something I’ve always been interested in.” Pettit said.

Pettit said she has always liked law enforcement and her aunt has friends that work in counter-terrorism which helped her gain her interest in pursuing that as a career.

Pettit is a student ambassador and is on the volleyball team. In her free time she likes to hang out with friends and family.

Pettit chose CWC because it’s in her hometown, she was recruited to play volleyball and for the great criminal justice program.

Pettit was nominated by faculty member Maygen Cassity, assistant professor for communication.

“Jensyn is beyond deserving of the student of the week recognition,” Cassity said. “She is a mature and hardworking student whose academic drive and commitment is truly impressive. I thoroughly enjoy having Jensyn in class.”
