RUSTLER SPOTLIGHT: ANTOINE DAY

RUSTLER SPOTLIGHT: ANTOINE DAY

Antoine Day is a photography, art, equine management, and criminal justice major. He is originally from Lander but spent a lot of time in San Francisco.

Day said he appreciates the variety of skills he has acquired from the degrees he is studying which are related to many different occupations. Day said he wasn’t sure why he decided to study four different degrees but credits his decisions and success to the leaders in his life.

“I have some great leaders that I look up to who have influenced and supported my decisions thus far,” Day said. Day said he was unsure if CWC would be the college for him but he decided to give it a chance.

I’m happy I chose the path I did because I’ve met some pretty amazing and wonderful people. ”

Day will graduate in the spring and he’s not sure what his next path will be but he hopes it will be in law enforcement. His main aspiration in life is to become a Texas Ranger.

Day works for CWC’s campus security and is in the Entrada and Criminal Justice club. He was nominated by Chuck Carr, campus security director for CWC.

“Antoine has been working for campus security since September 2019 and is the lead campus security intern,” Carr said. “Antoine is always willing to help anyone who needs help. Antoine always goes the extra mile. Antoine is also going to class and helping out anyone who needs help. Antoine is a huge asset to campus security and Central Wyoming College.”
