Central Wyoming College Theatre Announces 2025–2026 Season: Stories of Hope and Transformation
Riverton, Wyo. – Central Wyoming College Theatre has unveiled its 2025–2026 season, themed Stories of Hope and Transformation. The lineup spans historical drama, holiday fun, and beloved classics, offering audiences a year of powerful storytelling and unforgettable performances.
The season opens with The Signal Season of Dummy Hoy (Sept. 25–28, 2025), a heartwarming and humorous story of William “Dummy” Hoy, the first deaf player to join minor league baseball in 1886. Performed in both English and American Sign Language, the play explores communication, determination, and belonging.
Next, the annual Veterans Day Concert (Nov. 11, 2025) will honor military veterans with an evening of music and community celebration at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre.
Just in time for the holidays, A Very Groovy Christmas Carol (Nov. 20–Dec. 7, 2025) brings Charles Dickens’ classic to life with a retro twist, transforming Ebenezer Scrooge’s redemption into a far-out, disco-era journey.
In spring, audiences will enjoy The Secret Garden (March 19–29, 2026), the timeless story of renewal and healing as a young orphan discovers hidden wonders that change lives and restore hope.
The season concludes with Annie (June 18–28, 2026), the beloved Broadway musical about optimism, family, and finding “tomorrow” even in the hardest times.
