RIVERTON, Wyo. — Central Wyoming College will host its 2026 Native American Art Market  on Friday, April 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., celebrating Indigenous culture, artistry and entrepreneurship as part of the Central Wyoming Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference.

The Native American Art Fair will feature a diverse lineup of Indigenous artists and vendors representing Eastern Shoshone, Northern Arapaho, Navajo and other Native communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet artists, explore handcrafted goods and experience authentic cultural expression through art, jewelry and food.

“This event is an important opportunity to highlight the incredible talent and cultural traditions of Indigenous artists in our region,” said Al Hubbard, Tribal Education Assistant, Central Wyoming College. “It also reflects our commitment to supporting Native entrepreneurs and creating space for their work to be seen, valued and celebrated.”

Featured artists and vendors include:

  • Maria Vaquera (Northern Arapaho) – Owner of Indigenous Lids, offering authentic Native American beadwork including lanyards, wristlets and flat stitch earrings.
  • Albertina Isis (Northern Arapaho) – Owner of Abby’s House of Sweets, serving a variety of baked goods.
  • Korey & Kricket (Navajo & Northern Arapaho) – Jewelry artists specializing in beadwork and silver pieces.
  • Kathleen Thomas (Northern Arapaho) – Creator of handcrafted teepee dreamcatchers and goat milk soaps.

The Art Fair offers a unique opportunity for the public to purchase authentic, handmade goods directly from Native artists while supporting local and regional small businesses.

Held in conjunction with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference, the event reflects Central Wyoming College’s broader mission to foster economic development, cultural awareness and community engagement.

“This gathering brings together creativity, culture and entrepreneurship in a meaningful way,” said Beth Monteiro, Executive Director of the CWC Foundation. “We invite the community to come out, support these talented artists and experience the richness of Native art and traditions.”
