CWC Athletic Booster Club to Host Annual Rustler 500 Reverse Raffle April 10

Riverton, Wyo. – The Central Wyoming College Athletic Booster Club will host its annual Rustler 500 Reverse Raffle on Friday, April 10, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Rustler Gymnasium. The event is sponsored by Wind River Hotel & Casino.

Community members are invited to attend an evening of entertainment, dining, and prize giveaways in support of CWC Athletics. Each raffle ticket admits the purchaser and one guest to the event and includes a choice of two dinner options.

portrait of Steve Barlow“This event is one of the most important ways our community can directly support CWC Athletics,” said Steve Barlow, Dean of Students and Athletic Director. “The Rustler 500 brings people together for a great night, but more importantly, it provides meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes to succeed both in the classroom and in competition. We encourage everyone to come out, be part of the experience, and invest in the future of our program.”

This year’s raffle will feature more than $15,000 in total prize money. Throughout the evening, prizes will be awarded at various intervals, culminating in a grand prize of $10,000 for the final ticket drawn.

Highlighted payouts include:

  • First ticket drawn: $250
  • Every 20th ticket: $100
  • 100th ticket: $250
  • 200th ticket: $300
  • 300th ticket: $400
  • 400th ticket: $500
  • 499th ticket: $2,000
  • 500th (final) ticket: $10,000

Participants do not need to be present to win; however, organizers encourage attendees to join in person to experience the lively atmosphere of the event.

Proceeds from the event directly support CWC student-athletes and athletic programs. Organizers say community support plays a vital role in helping student-athletes pursue higher education while competing in collegiate sports.
