RIVERTON, Wyo. — Central Wyoming College is sparkling with holiday cheer this season thanks to the remarkable dedication and festive creativity of Paula Hartbank, Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees, and Amanda Peterson, Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The pair went above and beyond their daily responsibilities by coming in on Sunday, Nov. 30,  to transform the Executive Suite into a warm, welcoming, and beautifully decorated celebration of the Christmas season—using their own personal decorations.  Two of the Christmas trees came from the Festival of Trees which other CWC staff members decorated for the event.

Upon stepping into the Executive Suite, visitors are embraced by a warm holiday welcome and the gentle glow of the fireplace, creating a winter wonderland filled with classic seasonal charm. Delicate snowflakes—lovingly crafted by Amanda from simple paper bags drift overhead, while her handcrafted vignette of Santa and his reindeer using a Cricut cutting machine brings a touch of magic to the doorway. Twinkling white lights cast a soft, peaceful glow through the hallways, and thoughtfully chosen ornaments, many rich with sentimental meaning, add personality and heart to every corner.

Throughout the suite, Paula and Amanda have created enchanting themed displays, including a festive tree farm, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and a cozy mantel scene. Sparkling touches of silver and white reflect the serene beauty of a Wyoming winter. Their artistry and attention to detail shine in every snowflake, Christmas tree, and lovingly crafted display—inviting all who enter to feel the warmth and joy of the season.

The atmosphere they’ve created isn’t just visually stunning—it embodies the spirit of generosity, community, and joy that defines Central Wyoming College during the holiday season.
