Child Glaze Workshop

Art Workshop for children ages 7-10

About the workshop:
During this 1-hour workshop your child will learn about the process of creating functional objects out of clay, the glaze, and the firing process.  Your child will glaze a ceramic premade bunny dish.  After glazing the dish, your child’s name and the year will be inscribed on the bottom of the dish and fired.  You can pick up the finished piece at your convenience one week after the workshop.

About the facilitator:
Nita Kehoe, Professor of Art, has an MFA in Sculpture and has taught a variety of studio and art history courses at CWC for 24 years.  She is also a practicing artist who sells and exhibits her artwork throughout the world.  She will oversee the teaching of this workshop by her Central Wyoming College Art/Education majors.

Each Workshop is limited to 10 children.  Please fill out the Registration form and turn it in by Thursday, March 14, 5 p.m.
