RUSTLER SPOTLIGHT: SHANDA BARLOW
Shanda Barlow is sophomore and has an associate degree in science and is currently completing her prerequisites in social work to transfer to the University of Wyoming. She is a local girl who decided to stay close to home.
I enjoy working with children and want to help others. Working at Smart Start helped me decide to pursue this new passion. I want to help and make a difference in young children’s lives. ”
After completing her bachelor’s degree at UW she plans to stay to continue her education and earn a master’s degree.
She works in the Foundation office and is a student ambassador. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also really enjoys reading.
Barlow was nominated by the Foundation Director, Becky Ruthenbeck.
“Shanda has been a great addition to the Foundation this year,” Ruthenbeck said. “Her positive nature and willingness to help has been an asset to all of our projects.”
