RUSTLER SPOTLIGHT: SAMANTHA GRAY
Samantha Gray is a freshman from Cody working toward degrees in equine science and equine management.
When it came time to choose a college, the equine program at CWC caught Gray’s attention.
“It looked like a really good program that I wanted to be a part of,” Gray said.
Having grown up around horses, a future with them is a no-brainer for Gray. Upon graduation, she plans to either attend a four-year university for Equine or immediately transition to being an instructor.
I want to become an instructor and eventually own my own facility. ”
In her spare time, Gray enjoys riding her three horses, hanging out with friends and watching Netflix. She is also a new member of the community band.
Gray was nominated by Paula Hartbank, education and transfer coach from Student Support Services.
“Samantha is just a fun person to be around, and she wants to be here at CWC,” Hartbank said. “She strives to do her best at everything she does. I have really enjoyed working with her since she’s been here.”
