RUSTLER SPOTLIGHT-KATIE STEARNS
Katie Stearns is a freshman studying political science and psychology at CWC Jackson. She has plans to attend the University of Wyoming after graduating from CWC. She chose CWC Jackson because it was close to home.
“It is close to home in one of the most beautiful places in the world,” Stearns said. “I wanted to have a more affordable route to a four year college.”
Stearns was nominated by faculty member Liz Onufer, English instructor.
Throughout the last two semesters, Katie has made great strides in her academic writing and critical thinking. Her essays reflect the hard work of a committed writer, from idea development to peer reviews and revision. She participates thoughtfully in class and consistently adds new perspectives to the discussion. ”
