Riverton senior signs to play golf with CWC

Local girl, Kendra Miller signed with Central Wyoming College to play golf for the 2016 fall season. Miller signed her official letter of intent on Tuesday Nov. 3.

“I have watched her play and evolve,” said Pat Rafferty, golf coach. “She has really progressed in the game and is going to be a huge piece to our program and give us a chance to win a regional championship.”

Miller was seventh in the state this year for golf.

“I love how competitive she is,” Rafferty said.

“Having Kendra come to CWC puts a smile on our faces and makes us feel good about what we do,” said Steve Barlow, athletic director. “I have known the Miller family for more than 15 years and have seen what they have given to the community and the young students; we are fortunate to have them be part of our CWC community.”

Miller will graduate from Riverton High School this May and will attend CWC in the fall.
