BOARD PROVIDES UPDATE ON SELECTION ON NEXT CWC PRESIDENT

The Central Wyoming College Board is close to finalizing its selection of the next president of CWC.

In a progress report sent to CWC staff Thursday morning, Board Chair Charlie Krebs said he hopes a decision is announced at a special board meeting Wednesday, May 7 though he indicated the selection may be announced as early as next week.

“Please be patient as we work through the process and understand that the board takes this decision very seriously,” he said.

Krebs thanked the college staff and members of the community for attending the April 15 public forums by the three finalists, Dr. Paul Kraft, Dr. Jason Wood and Dr. Cristobal “Cris” Valdez. Trustees interviewed the three candidates on April 16 and deliberated that day and the following evening.
