Why did you choose CWC?
I chose CWC for a few reasons. First, CWC was in my hometown and I have a strong support system in Riverton. Second, financially it was the best option for me. The final, and most significant reason, is because of CWC’s reputation. I had heard great things about CWC from others. Many people told me that CWC is a place that cares about the success of its students and supports them every step of the way.

What are you Studying?
I am studying Elementary Education and hope to teach 3rd through 5th grade.

Where are you from?
I am from Riverton, Wyoming.

What kept you here at CWC?
The biggest thing that kept me here is my family. Being born and raised in Riverton has made it easy to stay. I also really enjoyed my first year at CWC so it was the best choice to stay!

How has CWC impacted you?
The biggest impact CWC has had on me is allowing me to grow more independent and confident. With the help of CWC, I have learned to be confident in my abilities but then also realize it is okay to ask for help when needed. Because of this guidance from CWC, I feel ready to face life after CWC.

Favorite thing about CWC?
My favorite thing about CWC is the professors and staff. CWC does a great job of fostering a welcoming community that could not be accomplished without the staff and professors. Everyone at CWC seeks to know your name and build relationships. The professors and staff at CWC are selfless, helpful, and committed to seeing each student succeed. The professors at CWC are amazing and I have been lucky to learn from many of them.

Future Plans?
I plan to graduate from CWC this spring and then attend Chadron State College in the fall where I will continue my degree in education.
