RUSTLER SPOTLIGHT: TOVA MILLER

Miller will graduate in Spring 2023 and plans to open a business to help young artists from the community. While Miller is not involved in clubs or activities on campus, she does enjoy attending the event to cheer on the Rustlers during athletic events as well as theater shows.

Miller was nominated by psychology instructor, Joseph Fountain.

“Tova is in my general psychology class and has impressed me from the first day with her insight, critical thinking skills, and ability to connect psychology concepts with the real world. She goes above and beyond on her assignments, interviewing friends and family members, and designing experiments,” Fountain said. “Sharing her findings with her peers has helped them to fully engage with the material, leading to robust, fecund discussions. She has truly set the bar well above that of previous classes, which has encouraged some of the best work I’ve seen. Tova manages this high level of academic performance with an incredibly busy schedule. She is a much-needed school bus driver, is the primary caregiver for her two children and two others, and deftly manages many competing priorities while maintaining good grades at CWC. She is an enrolled Northern Arapaho and is active within her community. Having already earned two associate’s degrees, she is working toward her BAS in entrepreneurship and looks forward to applying her skills, knowledge, and experience to the business world. She exemplifies the resilience, aspiration, and community-mindedness of CWC. We’re proud she is a Rustler.”
