ESL SPRING REGISTRATION STARTS IN JANUARY

Registration for CWC Spring Term ESL (English as a Second Language) classes will be January 11-13 at the Jackson CWC Campus, located in the Center for the Arts building at 240 S. Glenwood Street in Jackson.

The registration process does require placement testing which takes 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours. You can complete the testing in one evening or over a period of two evenings. Space is limited in classes, and we cannot admit or place students in the appropriate class without completion of the registration form and testing. Registration forms can be downloaded from the CWC website (www.cwc.edu/jackson/esl/) in both Spanish and English formats. Filling out your form in advance is encouraged. Testing and Registration is scheduled:

Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 6-8 PM (for testing please expect to stay until 9 PM, no tests will be started after 8 PM.)

Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 8– 11 AM and 6-8 PM. (for testing please expect to stay until 9 PM, no tests will be started after 8 PM.)

Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6–8 PM (for testing please expect to stay until 9 PM, no tests will be started after 8 PM.)

Enrollment is free, space is limited; advanced registration and testing are required for enrollment.

Spring classes in Beginning and Intermediate/Advanced ESL will be in a virtual online format. If you do not have the necessary technology available for participation, it can be obtained on a loan basis from the ESL program. CWC is a safe workspace, please wear a mask when arriving for registration and testing or picking up paperwork.
