The new program will be coordinated with the college’s current Criminal Justice offerings. Several additional approvals from the Wyoming Community College Commission and the Higher Education Council are needed before the program can be launched, possibly as early as this coming fall.
The annual Fiscal year 2022 budget reallocation and closeout included a transfer of funds that will be available for immediate action was approved.
The board listened to a presentation from Anderson-Mason-Dale Architects about and updated Facilities Master Development plan which is required every five years to provide progress details for grant applications. The plan includes build-outs on student housing, adult housing for non-traditional students, and additions to the campus in the form of a proposed Innovation Development Center plus upgrades to Rustler Gym for additional locker rooms and work at the Alpine Science Center in Lander.
Central Wyoming College continues to demonstrate upward motion in all categories related to educational pursuits and student life at all of its campuses.
