Riverton, Wyo. — Central Wyoming College will present its annual Veterans Day Concert, a moving musical tribute honoring America’s veterans, active-duty service members and their families. The performance is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre.

A Musical Tribute of Reflection and Gratitude

The 2025 program features a blend of patriotic, historical and contemporary works that honor the spirit of service and sacrifice. The evening will begin with “The Star-Spangled Banner,” followed by a reflective poem reading. There will be an international touch with “Waltzing Matilda,” and the Women’s Choir will present a stirring rendition of “In Flanders Fields.”  Many of the choir numbers are being performed by Riverton High School’s choir program.

Additional performances will include “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Apple Blossom Time” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The concert also includes the uplifting song “Sing,” while the Advanced Choir performs “Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story,” followed by the Mixed Choir with “My Shot.”

The program will also feature a special poem reading and a choral finale of either “Heal Our Land” or “A Living Prayer.” The concert will conclude with a performance of “God Bless America.” The event’s total run time is approximately one hour.

Honoring Service Through Song

“This concert is more than a performance — it’s an expression of gratitude,” says Joey West, Instructor of Theater. “The singers have poured their hearts into every song. Each note and lyric are dedicated to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.”
