INNOVATION INSTITUTE KEYNOTE SPEECH IS OPEN TO ALL AT CWC

Robert B. Tucker, an internationally recognized leader in the field of innovation, kicks off Central Wyoming College’s Innovation Institute Wednesday, Jan. 30 with a keynote speech that is free and open to the public.
 
One of the world’s leading authorities on innovation, Tucker speaks at 7 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Arts Theatre.
 
Tucker interviewed more than 50 leading innovators resulting in several books, including his most recent work Innovation Is Everybody’s Business, which is the subject of his keynote address at CWC.
 
Highly in demand as a consultant and keynote speaker, Tucker discusses the need for innovation in every organization, and explains why innovation is the key to business growth, survival and global competition.
 
As one of the leaders in the growing Innovation Movement, Tucker is a frequent contributor to publications such as the Journal of Business Strategy, Strategy & Leadership, and The Futurist. He has appeared on PBS, CBS News, and was a featured guest on the CNBC series The Business of Innovation.
 
Tucker teams up with Karen Howells, the president and founder of The Howells Group, to present the first session of CWC’s Innovation Institute, which brings global leaders in the innovation process to work directly with institute participants on specific business challenges.
 
The college has developed six sessions over the next eight months to provide a comprehensive program to assist in numerous content areas ranging from organizational design to leadership and management.
 
Tucker teams up with editorial cartoonist Kevin Kallaugher, filmmaker Sean Casey and Father Ubald Rugirangogo, a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide of Tutsi people for TEDxJacksonHole on Friday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Center for the Arts in Jackson.
