Testing Center Fees

COMPASS tests are free for CWC applicants and students for their first attempt at each section (Reading, Math, English). Public testers, testing for any other institution (including in-state colleges), and any COMPASS repeat tests are charged at $10 per session, regardless of how many sections are taken in the session.
CWC charges $15 to administer a CLEP test and CLEP charges $80, for a total cost of $95.
Work Keys testing is offered by appointment. The cost for the three tests is $52.
Certification exam costs vary by vendor. CWC does not charge any additional fees to administer these tests.

Students taking online classes through out of state institutions must pay $15 to have a test proctored at CWC. When requested, CWC will invoice the other institution.

Testing for CWC courses and other in-state institutions is free.
