Human Services General Option

Associate of Applied Science Degree

If you have a passion for problem-solving, are a natural caregiver, love working with people, and seek new challenges daily, then a career in human services might be a great fit. This program is designed for students who wish to enter the workforce after completing their two-year degree.

Complete 300+ hours of field experience which focuses on skill building. This gives students the unique opportunity to gain practical experience and provides guidance in choosing a career path. Some examples of field experiences have been at detox centers, probation and patrol, drug courts, senior centers, rehab facilities, correction centers and more.

CWC offers two options within the Human Services degree; a general option and an addiction option for those students specifically interested in seeking employment in the addiction treatment field.
