Art

Associate of Arts Degree

Study your passion! The art program at CWC leads students on a creative and thoughtful exploration into the arts. Through various mediums students will cultivate original ideas, learn to express and interpret art forms, and develop critical and creative thinking skills. Techniques in both traditional and contemporary art will be explored as students delve into multi-dimensional forms of communication and expression. CWC is the only community college in the state with a bronze foundry and cold/warm glass medium. Students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of mediums ranging from clay to computers, woodworking to welding. A student’s program may be designed to reflect a specific interest or direction in art.
