CAMPUS REMODEL – WE ARE ON THE MOVE!

In an effort to provide improved enrollment services to our students on main campus, the Administrative Wing of Main Hall be be taking on a whole new look and feel. The remodel, which campus is currently refferring to as the “One Stop”, will provide facilities where students can register in a streamlined and positive way.

After construction is complete, the new physical layout will bring together registration and records, admissions, financial aid and advising departments together in one easy-to-navigate center. The business office and cashier will be adjacent to the central area and an expanded student life area will be across the hall.

In an effort to bring better customer service to students the new area will include generalists that will act as a first point of contact  to students, assisting them with a large portion of their enrollment needs. The new design will allow students to register efficiently and effectively.

“We are trying to create a more holistic approach for the enrollment process and we believe this flow will optimize student engagement from their very first visit to CWC.” Cory Daly, Associate Vice President for Student Services said.

Departments have begun moving to temporary locations allowing for construction to begin. The construction is set to conclude in September.

Below is a list of departments in the Administrative Wing that are moving, and where they will be temporarliy stationed.

Foundation  –  Health & Science building room #127 (already relocated)
Administrative Services – Move to Main Hall building, second floor (Mostly relocated)
Marketing Office – Move to Main Hall building room #133 (Move week of March 16)
Registration & Records, Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid – Move to library first floor (Move week of March 23)
Business Office Staff – Move to Mail Hall building room  #137 (Move first week of April)
Campus Security – Move to Main Hall building room  #152L (Move week of April 6)
Human Resources – Move to Health & Science building room #210 (Move week of April 13)
President’s Office – Move to Health & Science building room #132 & #134 (Move week of April 20)
