DESCRIPTION:Dates and times:\nMonday\, Aug. 17\, 2–8 p.m.\nTuesday\, Aug. 18\, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.\nWednesday\, Aug. 19\, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. \nLocation: Intertribal Education and Community Center (ITECC)\, Central Wyoming College\, 2660 Peck Ave.\, Riverton\, Wyoming \nCost: Free \nCentral Wyoming College’s new Bridge Program helps first-generation students build confidence\, form connections and prepare for college before the fall semester begins. \nThe free\, three-day program is open to incoming first-generation students and first-generation students returning to college after a break of two years or more. A first-generation student is someone whose parent or guardian has not earned a bachelor’s degree. \nParticipants will explore the CWC campus\, meet faculty and staff\, connect with current students and alumni\, and learn about resources available to support their success. The program includes: \n\nPersonalized campus tours and student-resource overviews\nHands-on technology walkthroughs\nFinancial aid guidance\nAcademic and student support resources\nInformation about clubs\, organizations and campus involvement\nCampus safety and security information\n\nThe program concludes ahead of New Student Orientation on Friday\, Aug. 21\, giving participants an opportunity to begin the semester feeling prepared\, connected and ready for success. \nSpace is limited\, and registration is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nRegister online here \nFor registration assistance\, contact Rory Tendore at rtendore@cwc.edu or 307-855-2023.
