DESCRIPTION:Central Wyoming College will host Gracie Survival Tactics Level 1 training this spring\, offering local and statewide law enforcement officers an opportunity to receive modern defensive tactics instruction focused on de-escalation\, control\, and injury reduction. \nThe five-day training will take place Monday through Friday\, June 8–12\, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in the Riverton High School wrestling room. The cost to attend is $1\,500. Registration is available online here. \nThe program is hosted in collaboration with the Riverton Police Department and the Lander Police Department\, highlighting a shared dedication to improving officer preparedness and community safety. \nInstructor Jeff Greekas is a highly credentialed martial arts and law enforcement training professional\, serving as a GST Master Instructor and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Gracie University. With more than a decade of experience training law enforcement personnel\, he brings deep\, practical expertise to every course he leads. Greekas is also a longtime business owner\, having operated a successful martial arts school for over 14 years\, and is a certified Women Empowered Self-Defense Instructor through Gracie University.
