Athletic Training

Associate of Science Degree

Travel with the sports teams! Learn the appropriate procedures in taping, treatment, rehabilitation of athletic injuries, prevention of injuries and triage through experiential learning. The program emphasizes interactive education with about 100 hours of hands-on coursework. Students have the ability to work with the sports teams at CWC: golf, rodeo, cross country, basketball and volleyball. Sophomores in the athletic training program are assigned to a team and take on the responsibility of aiding these athletes during games and practices - a unique opportunity to learn through doing.
