4th Annual Fremont County Fine Art Exhibit

October 21st-December 11th, 2024
Meet the Artists Reception and Quick Draw Competition:
November 9th, 5-7:30pm

Robert A. Peck Gallery is accepting applications of artwork in all media for an exhibition of Fremont County Artists. Artists must have resided in Fremont County for 1 year prior to Oct. 1st, 2024. No videos, films or AI-generated images. There is no fee to apply nor is any commission collected when work sells. All artwork must be for sale. There is no jury process for this exhibition. The application is to reserve your space in the gallery.

DEADLINE for submitting the application form and digital image is 5pm MST, October 10th, 2024 to nita@cwc.edu. Or you can drop it off at Nita’s Office ARTS 103.

Application Guidelines

  • All fine art in any media is acceptable. No video installation or AI-generated images.
  • Submit 1 sample image of the type of artwork you will be exhibiting. Files must be 72 dpi @ 8” x 10”. Image will be used for marketing purposes and to give Nita an idea of the kind of work you will be submitting.
  • Provide a 1-page artist statement or process/technique statement.
  • Fill out application, initial forms and sign contract.
  • There is no fee to participate in this exhibition nor will any commission fee be collected.
  • There is no jury process for this show. Apply to save your space.
  • Please electronically submit application forms and JPEG image to nita@cwc.edu.
(If displaying more than 8 pieces of artwork, please submit an additional list (include Title of artwork, Medium, indicate Wall or Pedestal, Size, Year created, Price)
RAP Gallery Exhibitor Information
Advertising
  • RAP Gallery/CWC marketing department targets a variety of social media posts pertaining specifically to this exhibition for its duration. RAP Gallery/CWC cannot guarantee specific advertising initiatives with news outlets.
  • Artists allow RAP Gallery/CWC to use images of artwork in promotional materials. Artists retain copyright. Artist photo credit will be given.
  • RAP Gallery/CWC guarantees promotional posters and postcards released in advance of the opening reception.
  • If an artist provides professional media content for their artwork, RAP Gallery/CWC marketing may incorporate these media materials into the promotional posts mentioned above.

Sales and Commission
  • RAP Gallery encourages the sales of artwork. CWC takes no commission on the sale of artwork. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to price their work accordingly. Selling of artwork occurs between the artist and the patron exclusively. If patrons express an interest in purchasing exhibitor artwork, they will contact the artist directly or contact RAPG staff who will contact the artist with patron information. Artwork must remain displayed for the entirety of exhibit.

Gallery hours of operation:
  • RAP Building is open Monday- Friday 8am- 9pm, Saturday 10am-3pm. Closed Sundays.
  • Holiday closures: November 27th-December 1st.

Opening Reception
RAPG will provide light refreshments wine/beer/non-alcoholic beverages and hors d'oeuvres. Exhibitors are invited to be present at the opening reception to meet potential patrons and interact with the community and campus.
Robert A Peck Gallery Artist Waiver and Contract - please initial each statement.

I have carefully read this waiver, release, and agreement. I fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liabilities and a contract between Robert A. Peck Gallery and Central Wyoming College, its staff, members, volunteers, and myself and agents and I sign it of my own free will. I agree that this waiver, release, and agreement are to be binding on my heirs and assigns.

Important Dates:
  • October 10th, 2024: Submission of application due by 5pm MST.
  • October 16th, 10am-3pm. October 17th 5-7pm: Delivery of artwork to RAP Gallery. Please bring business cards. I have holders.
  • October 21st: Exhibition Opens
  • November 9th: Quick Draw Competition and Reception: 6-7:30pm
  • December 16th Pick up artwork 10am-3pm
Quick Draw Competition November 9th, 5-7pm
Application Due: November 5th at 5pm.
There is no fee to participate in the Quick Draw Competition.
Judge TBA.

2nd Place: $350
3rd place: $150
