| | Accredited: The Higher Learning Commission
Central Wyoming College has been accredited by the NCA since March 1976. The Higher Learning Commission of the NCA evaluates an entire organization and accredits it as a whole. The Higher Learning Commission assesses the college on five criteria: mission and integrity; preparing for the future; student learning and effective teaching; acquisition, discovery, and application of knowledge; and engagement of services. The college's most recent accreditation was in 2006 following a comprehensive Self Study and the Higher Learning Commission team visitation that occurred in the fall of 2005 and which resulted in the maximum 10-year continued accreditation. Information can be found regarding the Nursing accreditationprocess. Report: 2005 Self Study Report Downloadable PDF (4.6 MB) |
